In May 2020, the Jærmuseet in collaboration with Sola municipality opened a brand new war history exhibition "Tales from the Second World War" in this building, which in its time was a torpedo workshop for the German seaplanes that were stationed on Sola sea. The exhibition in the Torpedo workshop conveys the war through a selection of people with local historical affiliations.The personal stories also have ramifications out into the wider world.
