Sandnes Camping is a sunny and open campsite located by the Mandalselva river. Here you can enjoy peace and quiet, and stroll in the forest on our marked hiking trails.
CAMPINGSITE
The campsite is sunny, open and has a well-drained lawn with firm ground. Small roads with outlets for electricity have been built. Here there is a separate space for emptying waste water directly from the car and toilet emptying for portable tanks. At the campsite there are tables, benches and two separate barbecue/fireplaces. The campsite has sanitary facilities with 4 showers, 6 toilets, changing rooms for small children and the sanitary facilities are adapted for the disabled. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer is in the sanitary facility. At the campsite you will also find a kitchen with stove, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. The campsite has groomed hiking trails with benches and viewpoints.
CABINS
Midststua is a one-room cabin with room for 4 people. Here you will find a double bed, sofa bed, kitchen table with 4 chairs and kitchen equipment for 4 people. The cabin has a kitchenette and a toilet.Showers must be used at the campsite. Outside the cabin you will find a terrace with table, chairs and evening sun. Animals are not allowed inside Midstua.
Bjørkeli is a one-room cabin with beds for 2 adults and two children. This cabin is slightly smaller than Midtstua. Here you will find a kitchenette, kitchen table with chairs and kitchen equipment for 4 people, and a toilet. Showers must be used at the campsite. Outside the cabin you will find a terrace with table, chairs and some evening sun. Animals are not allowed inside Bjørkeli.
Stabburet was built in the 17th century and is a traditional Norwegian food store that stands on stilts and has a large stone staircase at the entrance.Here you will find beds for 2 (3) people, a sofa bench, kitchen table with chairs, kettle, fridge and sink with cold water. Shower/toilet and kitchen are used at the campsite nearby. Animals are not allowed inside the Stabburet cabin.
Stuseli is the smallest cabin on the campsite. Here there are beds for 2 people, a kitchen table with chairs and a kettle. Outside the cabin you will find a small terrace with table and chairs. Shower/toilet and kitchen must be used at the campsite nearby. Animals are not allowed inside Stusseli.
Gamlehuset the old house is a house from the 16th century. There are beds for 6 people here. The house has all the amenities; kitchen with kitchen equipment for 6 people, living room, bathroom with shower and toilet, 2 bedrooms, large garden and patio with sun from morning to evening.Animals are not allowed inside the Old House.
