Welcome to a charming hotel with an atmosphere from the 1870s and a location right in the heart of Egersund town. At Grand hotell Egersund we have 101 pleasant rooms, a restaurant, wine cellar and a first-class kitchen. We have our own revue stage, lounge bar, great function rooms and modern conference rooms with a total capacity of 160 people. Egersund is a cozy summer town, and the listed wooden buildings from the 1850s have created a cozy center for trade and social meeting places. In the spring of 2019, we opened a new restaurant called Eigra Kjøkken & Bar. With an open kitchen and grill, and a focus on local ingredients, we give you new exciting taste experiences.
Several festivals, Egersundsugå and Fishermen's Day are organized in the summer.Further into the autumn, Høstmarken, Oktoberfest, Culture Night and the very popular Christmas Town in Egersund are organised, among other things.Grand hotell is an excellent starting point for experiences in and outside the city.There are organized cycle routes, marked hiking trails and fishing opportunities both in rivers, water and in the sea.
The shopping street in the center of Egersund starts at the hotel, and the Egersund chocolate factory attraction is 50 meters from the hotel's restaurant entrance.
In recent years, we have had many large developments and renovations.In May 2013, we completed 18 new hotel rooms, a great auditorium, exclusive boardroom and group room.In November 2015, we inaugurated a further 21 rooms and a stylish fireplace living room.We now offer 200 beds.In the summer of 2018, we renovated a further 16 hotel rooms.Spring 2019 opened in Eigra kitchen & bar in the premises where we previously had the Grand Restaurant.
At the hotel we have a gym with a treadmill, rowing machine, spinning bike and free weights.

On 21 March 2019, Eigra opened a kitchen & bar in the premises of the old Grand Restaurant. Here you can sit for a long time and enjoy a good meal, or have a drink or two before continuing your journey. Bring your group of friends, colleagues, business partners, family and others you want to enjoy together with good food and drink. Eigra kitchen & bar has an open kitchen with a real charcoal grill. You get up close to the chefs and can watch as they prepare the food. You will find the kitchen's bar right in the room, so that we can quickly and easily serve and prepare the drink you want.
