In Sokndal is the campsite Bakkaåno Camping & guest farm with accommodation options for most people. Our products vary from unique experiences to simpler accommodation options; you can spend the night in the silo or other parts of the old farm building or small and large camping cabins. We have pitches and a tent area and two sanitary facilities. We also have year-round pitches between slopes and rocks facing the river, and the surrounding area. We also have party and conference rooms with the option of package prices. We have an approved kitchen and can offer catering by pre-booking.
The silo consists of two small apartments, "Silostovo" and "Siloloftet". The rooms in the silo are our most popular accommodation in the guesthouse with their rare shape and exciting character. The apartments have cooking facilities and a fridge. The rooms are suitable for 3/4 people. Separate entrance to both rooms and veranda with morning sun (silo loft) and afternoon sun (silo studio). Possibilities for renting bed linen and buying laundry.
The old barn on the farm has been restored to three rooms, two bathrooms with a large living room with TV. The individual rooms have cooking facilities, a sink and a breakfast table in addition to the sleeping places. A long shared veranda with a table can be found outside the rooms and provides a nice view of the campsite.Inside the common area there is also a microwave, coffee maker and kettle. The barn is the largest part of our guest garden, which is the unique product we offer our guests. The three rooms are great for groups going to the same event or a large family that needs more rooms and a little more space. Prices are per room. Løa In the old days, the hay barn was used for winter storage of hay for the animals. Today, Høyløa is divided into two floors with function rooms downstairs and rooms upstairs. In the hay barn, we can offer two separate rooms with a private bathroom with shower and toilet that are suitable for 2-4 people. Each room has cooking facilities, kitchenware and a fridge. A large shared terrace with seating and with morning and afternoon sun provides a great opportunity for outdoor dining in the summer.
Small cabins
Most popular: The small cabins are 14m2 one-room cabins with room for 2-3 people (bunk bed with double bed below). The cabins have cooking facilities and a fridge. Walking distance to shared shower, toilet and water tap 50-100m.
The 5-person cabins are 20m2, one-room cabins with beds for 5 people with cooking facilities and a fridge. The walking distance to sanitary facilities is 50m. The cabins are called Morgensol (morning sun) and Aftensol (evening sun) but mostly they have sun all day.
Solhaugen is located on a mound and has a small patch of garden with a view of the river. The cabin is 40 square meters and has two bedrooms (a bunk bed with a bed and a half below) and a loft and a private bathroom. The cabin has cooking facilities, a microwave, running water and a fridge. There is a TV in the cabin with connected RiksTV.
